Actually, it so … precious to me that I’ve put it up in the Auction House as soon as I got back Ogrimmar. Talk about precious.
I found the beautiful [Double-Barreled Shotgun] in the North Eastern part of Ashenvale, from an Elder Ashenvale Bear, level 26 if I remember correctly. I was up there with Alathiel last night, doing the [Satyr Horn] quest, and bam! a Blue drop from a bear. Once again I am amazed as to where the bear carried that shotgun. Wherever it was, I’m sure it was uncomfortable.
Alathiel is my real-life best friend, so we play with the loot set to round-robbin (each his turn, no matter the drop) in the knowledge that if I find something really good that she can use, I’ll give it to her and vice versa. She was quite put out that I got both Blues while we were adventuring together. I’m sure her luck will turn.
And boys and girls, a word of warning. My auctioneer add-on told me the [Double-Barreled Shotgun] was worth 9g 50s. If you’ve read the previous post you’ll know I was quite desperate to recoup about oohhhh… 10g …. that I spend on something I didn’t need, so I put it up right away without doing research. Turns out that it may be worth about twice that. Don’t ask me why, I think its a pretty average piece of gear, but I never argue with people with too much money.
