Gaining Rep With the Argent Crusade

The Argent Crusade was created by the consolidation of the Argent Dawn and the Knights of the Silver Hand. It is currently led by Tirion Fordring. Gaining reputation with the Argent Crusade can be done by running quests in Zul’Drak and Icecrown (a few are also available in Dragonblight and Howling Fjord.)

Once those are done you should be somewhere in Friendly – Honored territory. The rest must be gained by running level 80 instances while wearing the Tabard of the Argent Crusade (available at Friendly) or by doing my “specialty”: daily quests.

The Argent Dawn daily quests are in Zul’Drak and in Icecrown:

[76] Troll Patrol: Commander Kunz [40, 67 Zul'Drak], The Argent Stand: +350 Argent Crusade, 12g 69s
[80] Slaves to Saronite: Absalan the Pious [varies Icecrown], The Skybreaker: +250 Argent Crusade, 13g 23s

The Troll Patrol is different from the usual daily, as you have to complete 4 daily sub-quests from the various Argent Crusade Captains around Zul’Drak. You have 20 minutes to finish the 4 sub-quests to get an extra daily quest which is:

[76] Congratulations: Commander Kunz [40, 67 Zul'Drak], The Argent Stand: +500 Argent Crusade, 19g 5s and Patroller’s Pack

The Patroller’s Pack usualy contains a Scruffy Toe Lint or other useless grey item, but does sometimes (maybe 15% of the time) contain a Green item.

This daily quest chain uses up 5 daily quests out of your limit of 25 per day.

You can also gain reputation with the Argent Crusade by completing the dungeon daily quest which rewards you with a choice of tokens, one of which will raise your Argent Crusade reputation by 250.

[80] Timear Foresees…: Archmage Timear [63,55 Dalaran], The Violet Hold: +75 Kirin Tor and +250 Argent Crusade, 19g 86s

The point of reaching Exalted with the Argent Crusade is two-fold; to buy the available gear from the Argent Crusade Quartermaster, Aliocha Segard [87, 75] in Icecrown and for the Achievements The Argent Crusade and The Argent Champion.

Pattern: Brilliant Spellthread (Tailoring pattern for healer leg enchant)
Arcanum of the Stalwart Protector (Head enchant for tanks)
Boots of the Neverending Path (Leather feet for feral druids and Rogues)
Polished Regimental Hauberk (Mail chest for Enhancement Shamans and perhaps)
Helm of Purified Thoughts (Plate head for Holy Paladins)
Signet of Hopeful Light (Ring for healers)
