For my article this morning, I decided to go farming Talandra’s Rose in Zul’Drak.

There are a couple of reasons for that. The first reason is that it is not very difficult, as you will see by the loot tally a little bit later as you read this.

The second reason is that Talandra’s Rose is a relatively valuable Herb. If it is worth even half of what my Auctioneer Add-On says, then it is very worthwhile to farm indeed.

Since getting my Exalted reputation with the Wyrmrest Accord, I purchased my [Red Drake] , which looks very cool but also costs 1,600 WoW Gold. This has seriously depleted what little monies I had left!

So anyways, this morning I mounted my expensive Red Drake and made my way to Western Zul’Drak, looking for Talandra’s Rose. In 30 minutes (at most!), here’s what I gathered:

• 74 Talandra’s Rose
• 33 Deadnettle
• 24 Crystallized Life
• 2 Frost Lotus
• 1 Goldclover

Over 100 valuable, high-level Herbs for 30 minutes of farming is hard to beat, whichever way you look at it.

For your convenience, I am including here the Zul’Drak Herb Map:

Talandra’s Rose is very easy to farm in Zul’Drak. It is exclusively concentrated in the Western part of the map, and there’s hardly ever any competition.

In case you are wondering, the single Goldclover I got was not from herbing but rather from using the Herbalism skill on a mob I killed while farming. Still counts, though!

All in all I figure I have gathered herbs worth over 150g. I’ll auction them off tonight and let you know how that goes!
