Herb Farming in Crystalsong Forest

Farming Herbs in Crystalsong Forest? Good ol’ Renei is out of it, you may think.

Renei’s taken one too many blows to the noggin’, you believe.

Maybe Mordauk has taken too long a time out, and doesn’t remember the clearest, easiest facts about Wrath of the Lich King.

Here is Mordauk, desperately seeking herbs in Crystalsong Forest:

Notice how sad Mordauk looks from not finding any herbs in Crystalsong Forest. Now I’ve spent a little while (emphasis on the ‘H’, as in “Cool WHip”) this morning looking for information about Crystalsong Forest, and its sad, forlorn lack of herbs.

From what I could be bothered to learn from WoW Wiki, WoWHead and other places, no one has broached the subject. Obviously the place is pretty dead, and it’s got something to do with Dragons – maybe the Blue Dragonflight blasting everything to bits.

Nothing live seems to be growing in Crystalsong Forest. I have learned that there are elves – Blood Elves and High Elves, or rather “Good Elves and Bad Elves” or more accurately “Hot Elves and disturbingly similar, even Hotter Elves”… Anyways, there are 2 opposing factions of Elves intent on – you guessed it – whacking the crap out of each other.

Which in no way explains why there are no friggin’ herbs in Crystalsong Forest.

In case you had any doubts as to whether there are any friggin’ herbs in Crystalsong Forest, feel free to consult this friggin’ map, with the Gatherer Add-On turned on at “maximum power”, that will show you EXACTLY how many friggin’ herbs there are in friggin’ Crystalsong Forest:

So there you have it. No herbs in Crystalsong Forest. And except for a few quests, picked up in Icecrown by the way, no quests either start there, or end there. Nothing.

I guess Crystalsong Forest was included in World of Warcraft to give the city of Dalaran a patch of dirt over which to hover.

You should go to the Argent Tournement, there are a few quest from there that makes you visit this folorn place, but your right; this place is simply a placeholder for Dalaran.

    What a waste of a zone…
