Well, after a three-week hiatus punctuated by all the grief and unpleasantness the previous post suggests, Grunman and all his friends are back!

To tell you honestly, I don’t really know where to begin. Grunman is now level 47 - as of last night - and after spending 90g on a really ugly mount (Gray Kodo) is back up to 250g. I would love to tell you that he got his money by finding a really cool epic, but that’s simply not the case. The money was earned the old-fashioned way, by auctioning everything I find, and also by buying “rare” recipes from vendors and selling them on AH to impatient and rich fellow players.

One thing of interest happened, oh maybe a week ago. I got two “Blue” drops in 2mn, which is statistically unlikely, to say the least! I got a [Midnight Mace] and a [Viscous Hammer] from some tigers or trolls northwestern Stranglethorn Vale. I was playing with Alathiel at the time, and needless to say she was quite put out. She’s level 45, and I don’t think she’s had a single random blue drop yet. Of course, she’s done a bunch of instances, and I’ve done not a single one, so she’s actually wearing Blue from head to toe, and the only blue Grunman is wearing are the faded and passéed [Warsong Boots]. But I’m not complaining.

On another note, I’ve been cooking a little over the holidays, so I’ll be posting new recipes shortly.
