The Glory That Is [Lifestone]

February 11th, 2008 · 1 Comment

Hehe. Well, it was bound to happen.

A couple of days ago, Grunman, my overly powerful Tauren Shaman, finally made it to 60. He made his way to the Badlands to cross the Portal to Outlands, a region he had never discovered, since the tweaks Blizzard did to the leveling experience never required him to go there.

So Grunman was grinding happily, killing mobs while waiting for Alathiel, who had connection problems, and suddenly, like lightning out of a clear sky, comes the [Lifestone], dropping from a level 50-ish Basilisk, or maybe a boar of some kind!

Now Grunman was pretty happy. He’d heard all about Renei and Mandorall getting some Professor Plums, but he’d never thought his day would come!

Since I’d just reinstalled World of Warcraft on a new machine, I had no add-ons and could not tell what it was worth, so I kindly warlock who was in the same area informed me that it was worth 192g.

I have my doubts, since I promptly shipped it to my Bank/Auctioneer Zallesta for “processing”, she put it on for 135g and i t did not sell. I will try again next Friday and keep you posted!

If you want to be kept up to date with my newest writings, including new Wrath of the Lich King content, then you'd better sign up to my newsletter now!

If you are hoping to receive ****spam**** by signing up, then you will be sorely disappointed. I will never share, rent or sell your email address to anyone, for any reason.

-Renei
