“I Don’t Know But I’ve Been Told, That Real Humans Can’t Eat WoW Gold…”
Ok, that was totally cheesy. However, it is something to keep in mind. I remember quite clearly that when I lived by myself, leaving Azeroth for something as mundane as “putting fuel in the car” i.e. eating, was a major inconvenience. Personally, I only like to cook when I’m cooking for someone else, and then I really love it. But cooking food just to sustain my earthly body is an inconvenience and an annoyance.
My fellow World of Warcraft players, you must know that for your adventures in Azeroth to be fruitful, enjoyable and rewarding, keeping a full stomach in the real world is essential.
Also essential are showering, brushing one’s teeth, and keeping your house or apartment vermin-free. But more on that another day.
As anyone who knows anything about cooking will tell you - and I do, so I will - you need to know how to make 5 recipes real well, and your guests will always be impressed. Keep innovation for when you’re cooking for yourself and your significant other, and pull out the tried-tested-and-true for guests. It always works.
I will now share with you a few of the recipes that I use regularly. They are all relatively easy to make. Don’t look for precise measurements, you won’t find them. I cook intuitively and so should you, at least when using my recipes.
Renei’s No-Fail “Chicken” Pasta
Any pasta will do. Does not contain chicken. Total time: about 20mn.
Grunman’s Easy Shrimp-Stuffed Eggs
If you’re planning on reaching middle age, you might want to skip this one.
You’ll remember making Grunman’s Scorchin’ Curry for days afterwards. Your neighbors will remember, too.
PLEASE NOTE
As much as I love cooking and eating, I’m not a professional cook. If you follow my vague instructions to the letter, you’ll screw up everything. I write my recipes like I cook - a little of this, a lot of that, taste, cook until it looks good, taste again, cook more, etc. You get the idea. Do the same thing and everything will be OK. I promise.

Ok, I’m not a cook, I dont actually like to cook ( very much ) and yes, I can screw up hamburger helper ( true story, even a copious amount of ketchup couldnt save it )….but I am bound and determined to try all Grun’s recipe’s….he says they are easy…are they? Only the true “non-cook” can say for sure….
